As a property manager, it is your job to keep your tenants happy. Otherwise, they are likely to go elsewhere, and you end up with empty units. One way to keep businesses happy is by making it clear to consumers that they are located within your complex. The Mercado wanted to showcase the names of their occupants, so they contacted All Star Signs for monument signs for shopping centers in San Diego CA.
What Is The Mercado?
Situated on Rancho Bernardo Road, The Mercado is a neighborhood specialty center managed by The Heritage Group, a local provider of a broad spectrum of services in commercial real estate. They help businesses and individuals who want to invest in properties, sell properties, or occupy a location. The Mercado features a mix of tenants in an array of retail industries, and the complex is anchored by Baron’s Marketplace, which is a high-end regional grocer that specializes in gourmet foods and fine wines.
When such a quality organization contacted us for monument signs for shopping centers in San Diego, CA, we were thrilled to be of assistance. The Mercado needed a sign that would get the attention of passersby while doing a good job of branding. Fortunately, they contacted the right sign shop.
What We Did for The Mercado
Our first step was to meet with the client to discuss what they had in mind for the project. The Mercado wanted a classy sign that would really highlight their tenants. Based on their vision and budget, we came up with a few ideas for their monument sign. Once they were happy with the art proofs for the sign, we got down to work.
There were a number of steps to creating this intricate sign. We will just touch on a few of them. For each of the panels featuring tenant names, we created acrylic letters that perfectly matched their branding. The panels are easy to remove and replace as businesses come and go. For the anchor business, Baron’s, we used channel letters. The panels and letters were all attached to a metal cabinet.
We then built up the base of the sign and securely mounted the finished sign. Lastly, we hooked up lighting to make the marker visible after dark. Now, motorists can easily see which enterprises are in the complex. And, the client was completely satisfied with their new monument sign.
We Have a Broad Range of Solutions
The monument sign we produced for The Mercado is on the fancier side. A favorite option among strip malls and shopping centers is pole signs. These monuments consist of a large lightbox cabinet mounted on a pylon or between two poles. The cabinet features internal illumination and has translucent acrylic panels for each business in the complex. As businesses come and go, we can reface the panels. On the other hand, if the organizations in your shopping center are only open during the day, a post and panel sign may be your best option.
We could go on all day about the possibilities for primary identification signs for your property, but it would be easier if you just called us to find out what specific solutions we have for your enterprise. For a free consultation, contact All Star Signs today!
