All Star Signs fabricates custom etched glass vinyl prints for downtown San Diego offices. You already know that this use of vinyl is ideal for boosting privacy, bringing a brand-building message to your interior, and overall improving safety in an office setting. However, you do not need to make do with the traditional dusted glass presentation. Here is a project we recently did.
Intersection CRE Ties in Office Artwork with Privacy Glass Vinyl Privacy Barriers
You may remember Intersection CRE from our work on the firm’s brand-focused “For Lease” signs. They included single and multi-board post and panel signs. This time, the client had a project for us that was a little closer to home. During the day-to-day operations in Intersection’s downtown San Diego office, the client noticed that some spaces lacked privacy.
As with so many office suites, theirs used floor-to-ceiling windows instead of some walls. A case in point is the conference room that sits right behind the secretary’s desk in the foyer portion of the office. Foot traffic would interrupt meetings, which did not work well for the busy company. We proposed an imprinted etched glass vinyl treatment. The design we used matches the artwork that the firm displays in-house, making it an excellent continuation of the interior decor.
Privacy Boosters with Etched and Frosted Vinyl
We placed the solid vinyl stripe on the middle third of the glass surfaces for the conference room. It is sufficient to remove distractions, but it also allows maximum light to enter the space. There was a need for more privacy in the client’s phone rooms. Both doors had inset glass surfaces that look attractive but make someone using the phone feel watched.
The answer to this dilemma was simple. We designed two displays. One features a replica of a phone’s numeral keys, making it instantly clear what the space is used for. Cutting out the numerals and other features, the material maintains the privacy of the room while giving the glass a chic look. For the door of the phone room, we created a word wall cutout that displays several terms instrumental in Intersection CRE’s brand story.
Creativity Lets You Personalize Any Office Space
Infusing your space with as many brand messages as possible is an excellent way of maximizing your brand story’s exposure. While you might already be featuring murals, printed sales collateral in the waiting area, and wall graphics, do not forget the surface opportunities your windows offer. Even if you do not necessarily worry about privacy, these surfaces are nevertheless highly-visible spaces that are currently blank.
If you have already invested in window graphics, look around. Are they generic? Do they look like the frosted and etched vinyl you see in many other offices? What could a switch to customized etched glass vinyl prints for downtown San Diego offices do for your brand story? If you are unsure, invite the All Star Signs team for a site survey if you are unsure. We can show you different options that could be ideal for your unique setting.
