The Grossmont Union High School District oversees El Cajon Valley High School at 1035 East Madison Avenue. Although the state began the school year with distance learning, the administration is looking ahead and planning for the time that students and faculty members will return. It identified the site as needing updated exterior and interior signs for schools in El Cajon, CA.
New School Signs Create a Welcoming Atmosphere
We discussed the signage solutions that would make the campus more welcoming for this school year. Next, our technicians designed, produced, and installed three distinctive sign types for this particular location.
- Pole banners. The school colors are red and blue. The motto is, “Be Brave.” We combined both of these for dual school banners. They feature colors that pop and white lettering to boost school pride.
- Interior dimensional lettering. Dimensional lettering is an excellent method for adding depth to a wall. In this case, our specialists added white letters to a dark gray background. They spell out the school’s name and the year of its creation.
- 3D building letters for student services. The student services building is instrumental for serving the diverse student body at El Cajon Valley High School. Therefore, the administration wanted to ensure that it was easy to find. With 3D lettering that spells out the building’s function, it is easy to see it even from across the campus.
Now, these signage solutions work together to create a welcoming atmosphere for returning learners and their parents.
School Signs? We Do Those!
All Star Signs routinely works with school districts and individual sites to create products that will meet these facilities’ unique needs. For some, there was a need for wayfinding signage that would allow new students to find their ways easily on a larger campus. For others, there was the desire to replace weathered signs with fresh ones that breathe new life into a location.
Besides pole banners, interior, and exterior dimensional letters, we also offer several other school signage options.
- Window graphics. Do you need etched and frosted vinyl window graphics for the principal’s office or other administrative spaces? Our team can help you with a design to incorporate your mascot or even color play.
- Door wraps. Classroom teachers appreciate the opportunity to decorate their spaces with welcoming door wraps. They feature easy-to-clean vinyl that looks great, lasts for a while, and is easy to maintain. Choose a school-wide appearance or let your teachers select their own designs.
- Parking lot signage. Maintaining the parking lot’s safety is a huge deal – particularly if you oversee a larger school. Our team can create a signage suite that includes floor decals, post and panel signs, as well as building-mounted markers. That said, we could also concentrate on just one of these products.
