New Building Signs Change the Atmosphere
When we conducted our site survey, we saw that the old signs were gold-faced halo-lit neon letters. Over time, they had begun to blend in with the color of the facades, which was not in the best interest of the merchants.
For the new letters, we proposed non-illuminated fabricated letters. The material is three-inch-deep stainless steel that technicians would paint a brilliant white. The color choice combined with the thickness of the material creates an eye-grabbing visual appeal.
While technicians worked on the 3D letters, we sent a team to the shopping center to remove the old signage. After taking down the pieces, we prepared the facade to install the new components. The final step of the facade rejuvenation was mounting the pieces. Our team did so while working hard not to interrupt the regular business that was going on.
The finished result is a beautiful contrast between the white lettering and the darker facades.
Do Your Property Signs Need a Refresh?
More and more property management companies are now upgrading their shopping centers. However, you do not necessarily have to invest in painting and similar upgrades. If your tenants’ signage still uses the somewhat outdated neon illumination, something as simple as a sign upgrade can make a significant difference.
Illuminating with LEDs is brighter, lasts longer, and is much less expensive to operate. Of course, you may not have to select lighted signage. Particularly if you have facade lights or property lights, there may not be a requirement to invest in channel letters with built-in illumination. In these cases, 3D letters could be precisely what you need.
Different Types of Materials for Three-Dimensional Building Letters
Stainless steel is a long-lasting material that quickly freshens with a new coat of paint. Most importantly, you can continue to repaint these style elements in different colors if you decide to change the color palette of the shopping center. Another good choice for 3D letters is acrylic. Opt for this look when you favor a display that mimics the elegance of glass, but you also require something that is far more durable.
