There is very little doubt that well-done lobby signs in North County have an enormous impact. After checking our records, we noted that acrylic signs are the bestsellers recently. Our clients love them. What is it about the material and its application that has endeared it to so many companies across the County?
1) Acrylic Lobby Signs are Chic and Dressy in Any Setting
It is fair to say that a perfectly done sign becomes not just the focal point of a wall but also of a lobby. The acrylic sign we did for the Fix Medical Group in Rancho Bernardo is a case in point. What made this sign the ideal candidate for acrylic is the color red, which has a significant role in the corporate color palette the clinic uses.
For this sign, our technicians followed the rectangular display style ideal for the space size and makeup. Moreover, we planned on installing it with brushed aluminum standoffs that create just a little shadow play to emphasize the bottom edge of the signage.
For the logo portion, we added off-white three-dimensional letters to the board. The emphasis here is not the 3D nature of the letters, although they sure get attention. Rather, there is the use of subliminal graphics that we added to the large portion of the lettering with printed vinyl overlays.
2) Custom Acrylic Signage Generates Brand Awareness with Visitors
Every one of your competitors is likely also using a lobby sign. Therefore, the importance of having a sign that uniquely identifies you has never been more evident. Because acrylic is so customizable for various styles, business ideas, and brand messages, it is fair to say that it is the ideal material to build brand awareness. Best of all, you can use three-dimensional letters, logo boards, or a combination of the two.
3) Acrylic Lobby Signs Have the Power to Build Trust
A great example is Skyline Construction, which has an office in Sorrento Valley. For this client, we customized an acrylic sign that begins with a thick wooden back piece that our technicians stained an espresso brown tone. It is a chic building block for this product. The wood has a thickness of ⅜”.
Next, we worked on the look of the sign face. This piece consists of ¼” thick frosted acrylic that we mounted with spacers to the board. Finally, we added 3D white acrylic letters. Their juxtaposition generates a fantastic first impression that is not lost on the customer visiting the construction company. And, because it is a multi-state operation, the signage had to succeed in building trust in the local customer and those visiting from elsewhere.
